Milwaukee, Wis. —News radio 620 WTMJ will again lead the annual Teddy Bear Patrol campaign, sponsored by Water Stone Bank and All American Window & Door. Since 1993, the Teddy Bear Patrol campaign has collected and distributed 95,000 new teddy bears to local law enforcement and fire officials. These officials give the bears to children who are faced with crisis (abuse, neglect, fire, accidents, etc.) to help comfort them in traumatic situations.
From the 2011 Campaign – “Our annual Teddy Bear Patrol is one more way we’re combining the strong reach of our station with the generosity of our listeners to make a positive difference in our community,” said Executive Vice President Television & Radio Operations Steve Wexler. “This project is one of our favorites because it helps first responders comfort children when they need it most. I’m grateful to our sponsors and our audience for supporting this endeavor.”
Please consider donating a Teddy Bear on behalf of the Greater Milwaukee Chapter APA to the Annual Teddy Bear Patrol Campaign.

Our donor club balance as of May 6, 2011 is 45 donations, which helped 45 x 3, or 135 patients! Please join BloodCenter in Doing More Good Than You Know by donating blood. Every day we need 800 donors to supply 56 Wisconsin hospitals with vital blood products.
