Annual Teddy Bear Patrol Campaign

Milwaukee, Wis. —News radio 620 WTMJ will again lead the annual Teddy Bear Patrol campaign, sponsored by Water Stone Bank and All American Window & Door. Since 1993, the Teddy Bear Patrol campaign has collected and distributed 95,000 new teddy bears to local law enforcement and fire officials. These officials give the bears to children who are faced with crisis (abuse, neglect, fire, accidents, etc.) to help comfort them in traumatic situations.

From the 2011 Campaign – “Our annual Teddy Bear Patrol is one more way we’re combining the strong reach of our station with the generosity of our listeners to make a positive difference in our community,” said Executive Vice President Television & Radio Operations Steve Wexler. “This project is one of our favorites because it helps first responders comfort children when they need it most. I’m grateful to our sponsors and our audience for supporting this endeavor.”

Please consider donating a Teddy Bear on behalf of the Greater Milwaukee Chapter APA to the Annual Teddy Bear Patrol Campaign.

L. 107-16) that were extended through 2012, except for a new higher rate for certain high income taxpayers, thus temporarily at least avoiding the so-called “fiscal cliff.” Continue reading

Employers Should Use 2012 Withholding Tables Until 2013 Tables Are Available; Other Changes Take Effect January 1, 2013

Because of the failure to resolve the fiscal cliff problem and the underlying uncertainty as to what the income tax rates will be in 2013, the Treasury Department has not issued withholding tax tables for 2013 or any other official guidance on how employers should proceed.
