Membership Services
GM APA membership was at 129 as of Feb 2013. Our retention rate of over 100 members has been 100% consistently for 19 years
GM APA continues to offer the same and more benefits to the members without raising annual dues.   Annual Dues are $50.00
We haven’t done this since I became president.
Actions were taken on suggestions from the 2013 annual survey. This accomplishment list was a result of one of the suggestions from the survey
Survey Monkey is now being used for the annual survey.  It was sent out in 2012 and 2013. The results are summarized in a Excel spreadsheet and sent out to the appropriate committees.
Education
The Study Group had two sessions (Summer and Winter). The Study group met 12 weeks for each session. A total of three members taught and 4 participated. GM APA continues to provide a free study group to the membership
The Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation was obtained by 2 individuals between September 2012 and June 2013
GM APA offered monthly meetings September thru June, excluding January and July,  with professional speakers and members receiving RCH credits for each meeting
Extra meeting was held in August for NPW with Education for members and teaching Money Matters to students who attended the meeting
I thought we decided to hold off on this for 2013.
Virtual Congress instructions were provided to members and a Congress update is provided to the members at the May/June meeting
KAC’s were provided to all studying for the CPP/FPC. A new order of KAC’s was placed for the upcoming members studying
A list of chapter members and members in the other state chapters attending Congress was compiled on a spreadsheet to aid in coordinating and networking at Congress
A meeting was coordinated for Congress attendees to network at the Congress social events and to join each other at tables for General Sessions
Statewide
Currently there are three Chapters in the State of Wisconsin and we rotate having the Statewide payroll conference. Greater Milwaukee Chapter will host the Statewide in 2015
The Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of APA hosted the statewide in fall of 2013.  Our member and 2013 Payroll Woman of the Year, Michelle Ganzer, CPP, was the keynote speaker
